Past to Present
We began as Moore Combined Federal Credit Union (MCFCU), chartered on April 20, 1973. MCFCU was created by a group of salesmen and human resources employees of Moore Business Forms, a regional paper supply company located within the community of Denton.
Since then, in an effort to continue growth, we’ve merged credit unions, changed names, expanded to a community charter, and opened two new branch locations.
Today we are known as LiFE Federal Credit Union. LiFE stands for Living in Fulfillment Everyday and fits with our vision to better our members’ lives financially through the products and services we offer.
Field of Membership
You may be eligible if you live, work, worship or attend school in Denton, Cross Roads or Argyle. Select employee groups registered with LiFE FCU and family members are also eligible for membership. Call today to see if you are eligible.
To become a member of the credit union, a $26.00 deposit in a savings account is required. To open a checking account, you will need an initial deposit of $25.00. Then fill out a membership application form and bring your deposit to your local branch. Joining the credit union is like belonging to a family… you’re a member for LiFE. No matter where you live or for whom you later work, you can always remain a member of your credit union provided you remain in good standing.
